Vancouver All British Field Meet
VanDeusen Botanical Garden (37th and Oak Street)
This will be the 33 year of this event and will feature a large display of British cars and motorcycles. Starting at 10am and running until 4pm, this event will feature live music, food trucks, a swap meet, restoration demonstrations, as well as cars for sale. The event will close out with an awards presentation and special prize draws. So if you are a British car enthusiast this event is for you!
Vancouver Comic Arts Festival
May 19 and 20th
181 Roundhouse Mews
This is a two day celebration of graphic novels and comic books. The event will feature an exhibition and vendor fair with hundreds of creators taking part in panels, readings and workshops. Vancouver International Children’s Festival
May 2 - June 3, 2018
What once started as a theatre festival for young audiences has now grown into multi-disciplinary presenting theatre, music, dance, circus, puppetry and storytelling event. The event will feature performances and interactive arts activities that are relevant to a variety of age groups. Vancouver Craft Beer Week
May 25 to June 3
This is the 9th year of celebrating BC’s craft beer scene and will feature 10 days of craft beer events at local restaurants, breweries and bars across the city.
The event will end with over 100 craft breweries and cideries pouring over 300 different beers and ciders taking part in the Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival at the PNE fairgrounds on June 2nd and 3rd. It will also feature bands and djs, food trucks, market stalls, brewing demonstrations, a games area, and more! Tickets are on sale now at http://vancouvercraftbeerweek.com.
Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair
This will be the 129th year of the rodeo and is a great family activity to do during the Victoria day long weekend. The fair features a wide assortment of activities including: a ribfest, BBQ, country music performances, an agri zone full of all sorts of animals and lastly a giant midway with a dozen or so rides.
This event will feature the world’s best cowboys and cowgirls as they compete for cash prizes. It will also feature family friendly entertainment, food and fun for all age groups.
